Gleanings from the Edges

  My goal for writing and teaching is to encourage fellow believers in Christ – to grow in their walk with God, to know God whom they love, to clarify the truths they know about God, to balance their conflicting points of doctrine about God, and to shine a light on the grace of God empowered in their lives. My messages grow out of my own walk with and love for God along with my exploration of the Scriptures. 

I logically and humbly believe in the sovereignty of God, while holding on in faith to the goodness and love of God. My goal is for sound doctrine, which is both sound and good. Most of these messages are from time spent teaching and preaching at Grace Bible Chapel in Kerrville, TX.

I hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree in biblical studies – I am a loving husband of over 50 years, father of three daughters and grandfather to 11 precious grandchildren. I invite you to come and taste and see that the Lord is good and that He is, indeed, Faithful - as we, in the words of C.S. Lewis, go "further up and further in."
